The PDF versions of the brochures are designed to be printed with page 1 on one side of a piece of paper and page 2 on the other. If you have a duplex printer you will be able to print on both sides without having to manually re-insert the paper to print the other side. Some new printers come have settings to allow easy manual duplexing. Feel free to follow your printer's directions if you are already familiar with them.

Below are instructions to manually print the brochures.

The instructions and pictures may be different from your computer depending on what operating system, version of Adobe Reader and printer you are using, but the general idea is the same.

Step 1: Open the PDF version of the brochure you wish to print by clicking on the "Open PDF Version" button on the introduction page.

Step 2: Select the "Print" option by clicking on either of the printer icons or selecting "Print..." from the "File" menu.

Step 3: Select the printer you wish to use and click on the "Properties..." button. Make sure to select the "Landscape" printing orientation. Then click on the OK button to return to the print window. (NOTE: You may also be able to get away with checking the "Auto-Rotate and Center" checkbox. You'd have to try it and see if it prints correctly. Most times this will change the margins on so the brochure will not fold correctly.)

Step 4: Select the "Pages from:" option and change both page numbers to 1. This will only print the first page. Click the "OK" button to print page 1. NOTE: For best results, make sure the Page Scaling option is set to None and the Auto-Rotate and Center option is not checked (see picture below).

Step 5: Notice which way the paper comes out of the printer. Especially make note of the edge of the paper with the bottom of the text. Place the paper back in the printer with the bottom text edge of the page on the same side of the printer, but so that the blank side of the paper will be printed on. If you have a printer that has a manual paper tray, use it for this.

Step 6: Select to print again, but this time select to print page 2 by putting a 2 into both the page range boxes. Click the "OK" button to print the page.

If done correctly, you should have the completed brochure printed on both sides. You can now fold it into a tri-fold brochure. If the printing on one side of the paper is upside-down to the other, the paper got turned around somewhere in the printing process. Try again and make sure to put the paper back into the printer so that the second side prints correctly.
