1.
Seek
God as FIRST Priority.
Matt.6:33 Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all
these things will be added to you.
Heb.11:6 He who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a
rewarder of those who DILIGENTLY seek Him.
A word about priorities:
A.
Your private relationship with God
B.
Your relationship with your spouse first, then your children
C.
Your ministry or church
Your time with God is VITAL to your spiritual
health and effectiveness, and you will have to work to
maintain it, for Satan fears it. Matt. 6:6, “…
when you pray, go into your room, and when you have
shut the door, pray to your Father who is in the
secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will
reward you openly.”
Psa.119:2 Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, who seek Him with
the whole heart.
Jer.29:13 You will seek Me
and find Me, when you search for Me with all your
heart.
Deut.4:29 … you will seek the Lord your God, and you will
find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with
all your soul.
II Chron.15:15
And all Judah rejoiced … for they had sought
Him with all their soul, and He was found by them; and
the Lord gave them rest all around.
2.
Be a tither.
Mal.3: 8-11 Will a man rob God?
Yet you have robbed me!
But you say,
In what way have we robbed You?
In tithes and offerings.
You are cursed with a curse, for you have
robbed Me… Bring
all the tithes into the storehouse that there may be food in My house,, and
try me now in this, says the Lord of Hosts, if I will
not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out
for you such blessing that there will not be room
enough to receive it.
And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes
…
Did you notice that if one doesn’t tithe, he
is cursed.? God does not curse; the curse is out there!
Satan is the god of this world
(II Cor. 4:4), and doing things God’s way will get us blessed.
3.
Be a Giver
(Offerings beyond the tithe)
Gal.6:7 Do not be deceived; God cannot be mocked.
A man reaps what he sows.
Luke 6:38 Give and it will be given to you…
Luke 18:30 (those who have given up things for God) will receive
many times more IN THIS PRESENT TIME…
Prov.11:25 The generous soul shall be made rich, and he who
refreshes will himself be refreshed.
Phil.4:16,19 … you sent aid once and again for my necessities…
(so) my God shall supply all your need according to
His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
4.
Hear and Do The Word of God.
Matt.7:24-27
… Whoever HEARS these sayings of mine and
DOES them, I
will liken him to a wise man who built his house on
the rock; and the rain …and
floods came, and the winds blew and beat on
that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on
the rock.
Josh.1:8 This book of the law shall
not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in
it day and night, that you may observe to do
according to all that is written in it.
For then you will make your way
prosperous, and then you will have good success.
(To benefit the most, mainly
read the epistles; Romans --Jude.
These are to and about us, the Church.)
5.
Be Patient.
God is not a drive-through window.
Of all the things that belong to us under the
New Covenant, prosperity is probably the hardest to
get. We
must learn how faith works and how to use it, for
faith is how we receive anything from God.
6. Miscellaneous Conditions
Psa.145:18 He will fulfill the desire of him who fears Him.
Psa.37:4 Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give
you the desires of your heart.
Psa.84:11 … No good thing will He withhold from those who walk
uprightly (or with integrity).
Prov. 8:18, 21
(Wisdom speaking) Riches and honor are with me, enduring riches and
righteousness. That
I may cause those who love me to inherit wealth, that
I may fill their treasuries.
Prov.15:6 In the house of the righteous, there is much treasure.
Prov.22:4 By humility and the fear of the Lord are riches, honor
and life.
Psa.34:9-10 Oh fear the Lord, you his saints! There is no lack to those who fear Him. The young lions do lack and suffer hunger, but those who seek
the Lord shall not lack any good thing.
Psa. 112:1, 3
Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, who
delights greatly in His commandments.
Wealth and riches will be in his house and his
righteousness endures forever.
A
note on the fear of the Lord:
If you will read Exodus 20:18-20, you will see
that to fear God is to hate to sin.
Prov. 16:6 agrees; By the fear of the Lord, men
depart from evil. |
