In case you hadn’t noticed, bad
things happen. The
reason is, there is a curse on the earth.
And that’s because of what Adam and Satan did
back in the beginning.
So are we stuck with it?
No. Not
according to the Bible.
God has made a way for us to live free of it!
But we have to commit to God and His Kingdom
and learn to live His way in order to reap the
benefits. But
sadly, most churches don’t believe this.
They teach that God is trying to teach you
something by the bad stuff that happens. But God is a
GOOD God and He WANTS to be good to you!
(Check out my brochure God Loves Me for
lots of proof.)
1.
Be Saved.
Make
up a private prayer to God, committing yourself to
Him. See
Rom. 10: 9-10 or my brochure, Why be a Christian?
2.
Prioritize
your life.
Matt.6:33 Seek FIRST the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all
these things will be added to you.
A word about priorities:
Your relationship with God must come first.
Second is your spouse. Third, your children. Fourth, your church. Your time with God is VITAL to your
happiness and well-being. But you will have to work to
maintain it. Satan
fears this, but people around you will notice the
difference in you.
Heb.11:6 He
who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He
is a rewarder of those who DILIGENTLY seek Him.
Psa.119:2 Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, who seek Him with
the whole heart.
Jer.29:13 You will seek Me
and find Me, when you search for Me with all your
heart.
Deut.4:29 … you will seek the Lord your God, and you will
find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with
all your soul.
To improve relationships: Spend time with them
doing what they enjoy,
make sure your words build up, and walk in
love: Meditate,
pray and confess I Cor.13: 4-8 twice a day.
“I am patient and kind …”
3. Be
a tither and giver.
Mal.3: 8-11 “Will a man rob God?
Yet you have robbed me!
But you say,
In what way have we robbed You?
In tithes and offerings.
You are cursed with a curse, for you have
robbed Me… Bring
all the tithes into the storehouse that there may be
food in My house, and try me now in this, says the
Lord of Hosts, if I will not open for you the windows
of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that
there will not be room enough to receive it.
And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes
…” (Tithe
= 10%)
Did you notice that if one doesn’t tithe, he
is cursed? Remember I told you that there’s curse on this world?
Tithing and giving is the way to get God to help you
with your finances.
Gal.6:7 Do not be deceived; God cannot be mocked.
A man reaps what he sows.
Luke 18:30 (those who have given up things for God) will receive many
times more IN THIS PRESENT TIME …
Prov.11:25 The generous soul shall be made rich, and he who
refreshes will himself be refreshed.
Phil.4:16,19 … you sent aid once and again for my necessities …
(so) my God shall supply all your need according to
His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
4. Hear
and Do
The
Word of God.
Matt.7:24-27 “… Whoever HEARS these sayings of mine and DOES
them, I
will liken him to a wise man who built his house on
the rock; and the rain …and floods came, and the
winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not
fall, for it was founded on the rock.” The storms of
life won’t destroy you when you know and do the
Word. It isn’t a law; it’s the way to LIVE!
Not legalism, but a delight.
If your walk with God isn’t a
delight, make sure you’re doing it right, and then
realize you may have to do it a while until it becomes
delightful.
Josh. 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart from your
mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night that
you may DO according to all that is written in it.
For then YOU will make your way prosperous, and
then you shall have good success.
(To benefit the most, mainly read the letters;
Romans -- Jude. These
are to and about us, the Church.)
5. Be Patient.
God is not a drive-through window.
Under the New Covenant, everything we would
ever want or need is ours.
But we must learn how faith works and how to
use it, for faith is how we receive anything from God.
6. Other Conditions
Psa. 145:18 He will fulfill the desire of him who fears Him.
Psa. 37:4 Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give
you the desires of your heart.
Psa. 84:11 … No good thing will He withhold from those of
integrity.
Prov. 8:18, 21
(Wisdom speaking) Riches and honor are with me,
enduring riches and righteousness.
That I may cause those who love me to inherit
wealth, that I may fill their treasuries.
Prov. 15:6 In the house of the righteous, there is much treasure.
Prov. 22:4 By humility and the fear of the Lord are riches, honor
and life.
Psa. 34:9-10 Oh fear the Lord, you His saints! There is no lack to those who fear Him. The young lions do lack and suffer hunger, but those who seek
the Lord shall not lack any good thing.
Psa. 112:1, 3
Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, who
delights greatly in His commandments.
Wealth and riches will be in his house …
About
the fear of God:
If you will read Exodus 20:18-20, you will see
that to fear God is to hate to sin.
Prov. 3:7 agrees;
Fear the Lord; depart from evil.
Also, Prov.16:6, “By the fear of the Lord, men depart from evil.”
The fear of God is a process.
The greater your desire to please Him, the
greater will be your benefits here and rewards in
heaven.
